Recreation Activities Coordinator

A recreation coordinator is someone who organizes, executes, and supports recreational activities for a range of demographics. They may work in both profit-driven and non-profit-driven organizations to support mental and physical health, wellness, culture, social enjoyment, and community engagement. Recreation coordinators are useful in organizations that interact with or comprise extensive communities. The recreational activities they coordinate may involve camps, holiday activities, exercise sessions, sporting events, games, tournaments and other competitions. These can be activities for small or large groups and be recurring or one-off events.
The Nova Scotia Community College offers the course.
