A long-term care facility is attached to the MVMH. The Musquodoboit Valley Home for Special Care, locally known as Braeside, is home to 29 residents offering Level I and II nursing care with 15 single rooms and 7 double rooms.

Located within the Musquodoboit Valley Memorial hospital site is the Musquodoboit Valley Collaborative Family Practice which offers clinic patients diagnostic, therapeutic and referral services. The practice includes; 3 Family Physicians, a Nurse Practitioner and a Family Practice Nurse.

Musquodoboit Valley Memorial Hospital

Located in the village of Middle Musquodoboit, the Musquodoboit Valley Memorial Hospital (MVMH) is one of three hospitals within the Tri-community (Eastern Shore/Musquodoboit Valley). A number of allied health services are shared amongst the three facilities including; Social work, dietitian, physiotherapy, palliative care and occupational therapy.
The hospital site also has 6 inpatient beds and offers blood collection and x-ray services.
Adult mental health and addictions supports are provided by the Cole Harbour Community Mental Health & Addictions Clinic which travels to the region monthly. Youth mental health supports in the community include; IWK clinician, Schools Plus Outreach support and Child & Youth Practitioner, Halifax Regional Centre for Education Social Worker & Pyschologist, and a Youth Health Centre Coordinator. These services are connected to the local schools.
