Volunteer Visiting Buddies

Are you looking for a unique and fulfilling volunteer opportunity?

Visiting Buddies is seeking volunteers for once a week social visits with isolated seniors throughout the Musquodoboit Valley. Volunteers are matched with an older adult who they will visit at home or accompany in the community. The time commitment is 2-3 hours per week over a 6 month period.

The Well-Being HUB is a network of community and health providers who work collaboratively to provide the right care to support residents to take charge of their mental, physical and spiritual health. The network works to navigate, educate, coordinate and facilitate access to existing programs and services and create new ones to fill identified gaps.
