Carroll's Corner - Mastodon Trail
This 4 km multi-use trail begins behind the Carroll’s Corner Community Centre and continues through a mature forest. Wildlife sightings are possible along the route. There is a lookoff area overlooking National Gypsum’s open pit mine where mastodon remains were discovered. The trail is open year-round with benches for resting and a washroom near the trail mid point.

McCurdy Woodlot
This woodlot is home to a number of trails and a nature play space. These spaces are open year-round for families to explore. Be sure to check out the story board walk, which changes with the seasons.
The 2.6-km circular trail through the woods is generally considered an easy route. This trail is great for birding, cross-country skiing, and hiking. The gravel road that runs uphill from the entrance to the top is also great for walking. The trails and road are not maintained during the winter. Dogs are welcome, but owners are asked to pick up after their dogs and to be mindful of others using the trail.
