Musquodoboit Valley Memorial Hospital
Located in the village of Middle Musquodoboit, the Musquodoboit Valley Memorial Hospital (MVMH) is one of three hospitals within the Tri-community (Eastern Shore/Musquodoboit Valley). A number of allied health services are shared amongst the three facilities including; Social work, dietitian, physiotherapy, palliative care and occupational therapy.
The hospital site also has 6 inpatient beds and offers blood collection and x-ray services.
Adult mental health and addictions supports are provided by the Cole Harbour Community Mental Health & Addictions Clinic which travels to the region monthly. Youth mental health supports in the community include; IWK clinician, Schools Plus Outreach support and Child & Youth Practitioner, Halifax Regional Centre for Education Social Worker & Pyschologist, and a Youth Health Centre Coordinator. These services are connected to the local schools.

The YHCC is part of a multi-disciplinary team of Public Health staff that work at provincial, regional and local levels to advance HPS in Nova Scotia. YHCCs are regulated health care professionals that are uniquely positioned to work with youth and high schools through YHCs located across the province.

The Bicentennial Theatre is a not-for-profit community facility. All rental fees go back to the organization to maintain the facility or to assist with the cost of providing entertainment for your enjoyment.
